The Senexis management team work together to ensure that Senexis will grow into a successful business enterprise which can make a real change to people's lives around the globe.

J Mark Treherne BSc, MPhil, PhD, MIoD - Chief Executive.
Mark obtained his PhD in receptor neuropharmacology from Cambridge University, before holding a faculty position at the Biozentrum in Basel. Mark now has 25 year's experience in the discovery of novel treatments for diseases of the central and peripheral nervous systems, including Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases. Mark was formerly at Pfizer in the UK, where he was responsible for research into neurodegenerative diseases. On leaving Pfizer in 1997, Mark set up Cambridge Drug Discovery as Chief Executive, which was sold to BioFocus in 2001. Mark has now been involved in fund raisings for various biotechnology companies and joined Senexis in 2002, when it was initially funded.

Howard Sheppard - Director of Finance.
Howard qualified as an accountant after working in accounting practice for 10 years. He then moved into industry becoming a Group Financial Accountant at a large listed plc gaining valuable experience in group treasury, international tax and group reporting requirements. He later went on to become the Client Finance Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa for a large International Travel management company turning over $12bn worldwide. He now is the director of his own company, H Sheppard Ltd, looking after businesses large and small.
